 Bus Bar Seismic Restraint
2010
(Canexus Chemicals, North Vancouver, BC)
MG completed the detailed design for the bus bar seismic restraints for the Canexus TCP project in North
Vancouver.
The restraints consisted of cables with insulators, and rigid supports where cables could not be
placed on both sides.

HCl Storage Scrubber UPgrade
2010

MG completed detailed design for the installation of 2 Fume Scrubbers and related piping.
The objective of this
project was to was to provide provide continuous scrubbing ability for their (4) HCl Storage Tanks
& Truck
Loading Station by installing 2 fume scrubbers and a three way valve switching station.

Standby Pumps Installation
2010

MG completed detailed design for the installation of 12 standby pumps, related piping, pipe bridge and equipment
pads.

Erco Feed Back-UP System
2010

MG completed detailed design for the installation of the Erco Feed Back-Up System.
The objective of this project
was to was to provide the adjacent Sodium Chlorate Plant filtered brine,
while Canexus in their annual
maintenance shutdown. The project included the installation of a pump,
related piping, pipe bridge and equipment pad.

Modification to Caustic Railcar Loading Ramps
2010

MG completed detailed design for widening the Caustic Railcar Loading Ramps.
The objective of this project was to
improve the loading at (3) Caustic Railcar loading stations.
The project included installing (3) 4 feet wide ramps,
modifying platform steel and piping.

Hydrogen Analyzer Re-Deployment
2010

MG completed detailed design for installation of the Hydrogen Analyzer Re-deployment
The objective of this
project was to provide continuous sampling of the chlorine off gas for presence
of hydrogen from the Electroylzers.
The project included the installation of (14) titanium sample coolers, relocating (7) pressure gauges, installing
sample tubing, and instrument air for sample cooling.

Plant Drainage
2010

MG completed detailed design and assisted with construction for Plant Drainage in between the Cell Room and the
Brine Area. The objective of this project was to improve drainage of rain water.

Canexus Salt Pad Project
2010

MG completed the detailed design and assisted the Canexus Plant in North Vancouver with construction
management
of the first phase of the expansion of their raw salt storage capacity. This project consisted of
installing new
‘lock block’ retaining walls on the south and east sides of the salt pad. The lock blocks were tied in
to existing
walls with short sections of new cast in place concrete retaining walls. The project also included some
demolition
of existing structures and piping, some new piping, platform re-design, a drainage system, fence
relocation, asphalt
paving, and the installation of a new power pole.

Caustic Railcar Loading Automation
2009

MG completed detailed design for the Caustic Railcar Loading Automation.
The objective of this project was to
improve Caustic Railcar Loading.
The Project included installing two mag meters and three automatic on/off
valves and related piping.

FLY ASH HANDLING PROJECT 2009

PIPELINES 2008

MG assisted PSI with a conceptual study for new options for the
mine. Previously, MG assisted PSI with the

of the diesel supply, mine concentrate, tailings and ore pipelines.

HYDROCHLORIC RAILCAR ACID LOADING FACILITY 2008

The acid railcar loading project consisted of the design and installation of a new stand-alone railcar loading platform, located to the north of the existing loading bays. The project included a siding extension to the south, which combined with the new loading station, allows increased caustic and acid railcar loading capabilities.

5 kilometre and 20 kilometre tailings system for
the Goldex Mine

the heat exchanger installations on this project.

This project involved budget development work for a proposed gold mine in a remote area of Alaska. The mine location was distant from power utilities, oil pipelines and other possible sources of energy.

Located in northwestern British Columbia, Galore Creek is one of the largest undeveloped copper-gold-silver projects worldwide. Novagold has proposed the installation of a slurry pipeline to transport 2000 tonnes per day of copper concentrate in an 8” by 135 km lined pipeline.
