Intermediate/Senior Piping Designer/Draftsman
|
MG Engineering Inc. (MG) provides engineering and consulting services to the
chemical, pulp and paper and mining industries. MG has offices in Vancouver and Gibsons, BC. We are looking for a qualified Intermediate/Senior Piping Designer/Draftsman to join our highly experienced, multi-discipline engineering team. The qualified candidate could locate in either the Vancouver or Gibsons office.
Key responsibilities include:
● Detailed piping design for
mining, pulp and paper mills, chemical plants and other heavy industrial applications.
● Preparation of material takeoffs.
● Development of layout drawings;
plans, sections & piping isometric drawings; as well as flow
diagrams and general arrangement drawings.
● Possibility of short-term travel;
local or international, Canadian passport required.
Qualifications and experience
requirements include:
●
A minimum 5-10 years of piping design and drafting experience in pulp and
paper and other heavy industrial.
● Auto CAD proficiency.
● Valid BC drivers license and Canadian passport.
● Enthusiasm, flexibility and a positive attitude.
● Excellent communication skills and proven ability to liaise with team members and clients.
